Vardzia Tour

Two-days tour to Samtskhe-Javakheti region starts from Tbilisi at the place of your stay, from where, passing by beautiful valleys, green fields and historic places you will get to Paravani lake located 2,073 m above sea. Next stop is Vardzia, 12th-13th century cave monastery. By evening you can admire Rabati, amazingly renovated medieval castle located in the centre of Akhaltsikhe. Day two will be also full of impressions from Borjomi Kharagauli National Park and its surrounding areas.

Day 1

9:00 – 10:00: short briefing and starting trip to Samtskhe Janaheti.

11:30: arrival to Paravani Lake.

13:00: arrival to Vardzia Cave Monastery.

15:00: arrival to Rabati Castle.

17:00: arrival to Green Monastery Church.

19:00: arrival to hotel in Borjomi.

Day 2

9:00 – 10:00: short briefing and starting trip to Borjomi Park.

12:00: Timotesubani Church.

17:00: return in Tbilisi.
